A Very Prompt Chat: Sharisse Zeroonian
Hello you. Welcome to a brand new series of mini-episodes that we’re creating in-between our main series (which is back again for eight new episodes later this summer). We are calling these shows ‘A Very Prompt Chat’ and within them we’ll be talking with fellow writers and prompteteers around the world and asking them to create and read a new piece of work for us (based on one of our pre-prepared prompts).
For this first episode, we’re talking with Sharisse Zeroonian; an emerging writer, filmmaker, and teacher from Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Her work has appeared on various platforms including in The Armenian Weekly, NYU's Minetta Review, Amazon, and on NPR. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Stage and Screen at Lesley University. You can follow her on Twitter @SharisseNaomiZ
Her pilot episode of “One Plus One Is Two” is available on Amazon
In this episode Sharisse is using the prompt, “The Smell of Your Grandmother’s Laundry Room”
Join us again next month for a new prompt and chat with another writer!
Why not have a go at the prompts yourself (but don’t forget to time yourself, and no cheating please) and send us your own responses to prompetyprompt@gmail.com or via Twitter and Instagram. You never know, you might feature in a future show.
A Cornucopia Radio Production. Recorded and Produced by Peter Beeston. Co-created by Letty Butler and Stephen Mellor. Based on an original idea by Stephen Mellor.
